Vertex House
A private residence composed entirely from triangulated volumes.
A private residence composed entirely from triangulated volumes.
Vertex House is a study in angular precision. Sited on a sloping plot at the edge of Prishtine, the building emerges as three intersecting prisms cut from local concrete and finished with weathered steel. The roof folds upward in a single 14-degree gesture that captures northern light through a triangulated skylight grid.
The brief asked for a building that would mediate its site while also asserting a clear geometric identity. Our response was a single irreducible figure repeated at three scales: an outer envelope, an inner volume and a hand-held detail. Every element of Vertex House traces its proportion back to that single triangle.
